Working with Nicolai Højgaard

Rob Hobkinson has worked with Nicolai Højgaard since May 2022 as his Physiotherapist and Fitness Trainer on the DP World Tour and PGA Tours. Rob is responsible for ensuring that Nicolai - and twin brother Rasmus - is in peak physical condition to meet the dual demands of the PGA Tour and DP World Tour schedules. Rob's remit is to maximise Nicolai's physical capabilities, giving him and his coach - Søren Hansen - a sound platform to develop his game and technique unimpeded, and to support him in delivering his best golf during tournament weeks.

ABOUT NICOLAI

Since turning pro in 2019 Nicolai has demonstrated that he is one of the most promising talents in the world of golf. Nicolai beat some of the world's best to secure the 2023 DP World Tour Championship, having formed part of Luke Donald's winning Ryder Cup Team in Rome the previous month. At the time of writing he is a three-time winner on the DP World tour - having also won the 2022 Ras Al Khaimah Championship and the 2021 Italian Open. 2023 was truly a fabulous year for the talented Dane as he also earned his PGA Tour card.

In 2024 Nicolai is competing as a member of the PGA Tour, and in his first PGA Tour event of the season took second place in the Farmers Insurance Open.
