Thanks so much to Rob Hobkinson from Peak Golf Performance for all the hard work over the last few years.
I wouldn’t be where I am now without it.
— Jordan Smith, 2017

Jordan Smith is one of the world's most promising golfers.

Since turning professional in 2015 Jordan has tracked a stellar rise through the world golf rankings. From 706th in the world in 2015 to 77th in the official world golf rankings as the 2017 season draws to a close.

Thanks to his current position as 20th in the Race to Dubai Jordan has secured a coveted place at the World Tour Championships, the pinnacle of the Race to Dubai taking place in November 2017.

Sport science and physiotherapy support

Since 2015 Rob Hobkinson of Peak Golf Performance has worked closely with Jordan. Rob is responsible for ensuring that Jordan Smith is in peak physical condition to meet both the demands of the intensive European Tour schedule, and the demands of the game of golf itself. He works to ensure that Jordan's physical capabilities are maximised, giving player and coach a sound physical platform to develop his game and his technique unimpeded.

As part of his role in Team Smithy, Rob develops phased strength and conditioning programmes; provides consistent support during gym training; undertakes ongoing diet planning and works to develop and execute team preparation strategies. This work is based on a foundation of statistics and scientific analysis, following biomechanical and physiological testing.
